Fashion, film and dance in Cinecitta, Tilburg

Fashion, film and dance in Cinecitta, Tilburg

Choreographer Jelena Kostić was already a guest in film arthouse Cinecitta in Tilburg (NL) in the winter of 2015, to premier her dance film INTERLUDE there. While INTERLUDE was shown all over the world at filmfestivals and collected awards, Jelena was asked by FASHIONCLASH’ platform for talent development Act! Cut! Play! to make a fashion film together with director Leen Michiels and fashion designers Schueller de Waal.

Live dance performance and fashion exposition
On October 5th you can see the exciting result:
YOUR APPROVAL IS NOT ESSENTIAL – a film starring high heels, rollerskates and a naked cat – in a festive, dressed up setting. The screening will be followed by the two other fashion films from the other artists in the project. The fashion from Jelena’s film by fashion designers Scheuller de Waal will be shown exclusively in Cinecitta tonight. In the loby students of Fontys Dance Academy will perform three dance solo’s, imagining things that they would want to do deep inside but are always afraid of to do. Fresh and bitter, sweet and sour: a live dance performance and a gift that tastes like oranges.
